Dr Prue King BDS

Dr Prue King graduated from Otago University (NZ) and moved to Sydney from Wellington, NZ, where for many years she ran a busy integrative dental practice. Prior to that she worked in general practice in London where she was first exposed to many of the holistic concepts which form the basis of her practice today.

 

Lotus Dental is the culmination of a passionate vision she held for many years: a practice dedicated to integrative dentistry in the context of holistic health, extending beyond the normal “square box” of dentistry… Summed up as

Dr Urvashi Pandey BDS

Dr Urvashi Pandey graduated in dentistry in 1997 from Kurukshetra University in Northern India. She worked in private practice in India for 4 years and after moving to Australia she received her Australian Dental Council Certificate in 2003. She has been practicing general dentistry in the City since 2003 and in Neutral Bay since 2010. She became part of Maven dental group in 2018.

Dr Urvashi has a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of temporo-mandibular dysfunctions (TMJ), craniosacral pain, diagnosing and treating snoring and sleep apnoea, and the early detection of malocclusions in children with a view to minimising future issues and she loves creating beautiful smiles for people through cosmetic dentistry.

Dr Jackie Bonifacio DMD

Dr Jackie obtained her  degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2007 and received her certification from Australian Dental Council in 2016.

Her training and practice involves and strongly focuses on the belief that oral health is an integral part of an individual’s totality. She is very thorough in understanding, diagnosing and formulating management plan that aims to provide a patient-centred outcome.

Dr. Jackie’s areas of interest are minimally invasive restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery and implants.

She regularly attends continuing education courses to improve her skills and feels very fortunate to be mentored by seasoned practitioners who share the same interest and passion in integrative practice.

Veronica Queralt-Vila RDH BOH, Orofacial Myologist

Veronica is a qualified dental hygienist with more than 10 years experience, having obtained her degree in Oral Health from Newcastle University. She has also completed extended training in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy.

She is enthusiastic about improving the oral health of our patients though our preventive program.

Through her experience working in private practice, Veronica has developed extensive hygiene skills – both practical and also in communicating with adults and children to encourage correct oral care.

Orofacial Health provides rehabilitation and therapy for Tongue Thrust Correction, Oral Rest Posture Therapy and the recognition of tongue and lip ties and their influence on orofacial growth and function.

Mariko Goto, Dental Hygienist

Mariko Goto graduated from her Dental Hygiene qualification from The University of Japan in Tokyo in 2000 and obtained her Australian Dental Hygiene qualification in 2008.

Bringing a wealth of knowledge to the Lotus Dental practice, Mariko has over 20 years of experience in Australia and Japan within the dental industry. She is committed to continued learning and is excited to extend her scope of knowledge by studying Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy in 2022.

As a dental hygienist, Mariko takes a gentle, thorough, and effective approach when treating her patients. She is committed to improving and maintaining her patient’s oral health while ensuring they feel comfortable in the dental chair.

In her spare time, Mariko likes to spend time with her husband and child, exploring nature.
