Dr Rosalba Courney ND, DO, PhD

Dr. Rosalba Courtney is a highly experienced Osteopath, Naturopath and Breathing Therapist with over 35 years experience as a practitioner, teacher, author and researcher.

​

As well as her many years of practical experience in breathing dysfunction and breathing therapy, Rosalba has a PhD from RMIT University on the ‘Assessment and Clinical Relevance of Breathing Dysfunction’ and has published many scientific papers and book chapters on this subject.

​

Her life’s work and passion is helping people get out of pain, reduce stress and get healthy and happy – and constantly learning about improved ways to do this. Her clinical approach to healing adults and children is integrative, and she often combines several of the modalities she is trained in when treating her patients.

Dr Courtney has clinics at Avalon and Edgecliff.

Kate Kessel Dip Nat, RN

Kate Kessel is a Naturopath and a Registered Nurse, holding Diplomas in Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy and Nutrition.

​

Kate has worked in the field of dentistry and healing for over 20 years. She is interested in the relationship between oral health and general health, and is working alongside our dental team for whole-body health and wellness in our patients.

​

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Nursing / Masters of Clinical Health (Sydney Uni)

  • Diploma in Naturopathy – Diploma in Homeopathy, Herbal Medicine, Nutrition & Massage (ACNM)

  • Certificate in Injectable Nutrients – Australasian College of Medical Nutrition (ACMN)

 

Kate combines her experience and knowledge in both science and naturopathy to provide a better understanding of health conditions and their treatment. Looking into the underlying causes of ill-health, Kate aims to identify and correct disturbances through herbs, nutrition, diet and lifestyle modifications. She currently works part time at St Vincent’s Hospital in a medical infusion clinic.

Kate enjoys family life and is involved in many community activities.
